Since childhood he has felt attracted to his biggest passion – art.
Markus Lüpertz the great painter and sculptor from Berlin encourages the young artist at the age of 18 to move on with his art and asked him to become one of his students at the „Art-Academy Düsseldorf“
In summer 2008, at the age of 18, Benjamin Rayher applied at the renowned art university „School of Visual Arts“(famous alumnus Keith Haring) in New York and was accepted for the summer courses as the youngest applicant.
Several solo exhibitions in Austria Velden am Wörthersee, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf (Kö-Gallerie), Vienna, as well as several commissions.
Benjamin Rayher finished his studies at the renowned the Art Academy Düsseldorf in 2017 in the class
of Professor Anzinger.
I refer to old masters and transmit such techniques into modern times.
The freedom of mixture of styles within an artwork creates something totally new and unique. I am mainly influenced by film, friends and characters
that touch my heart.
