Denise Kirsch

Characteristic for her paintings are the bright, popping colours and the way how she is using and composing it. The arrangement of the colour area often looks like aligned.

Her paintings are not abstract but figurative and show modern all day life but never in a photo- realistic way as proportions are not important for the artist. The scenes she depicts refer mostly to consumerism. People are represented in a way where you can feel the consumption. She wants to highlight the moment of what the person is doing and how he is sunk in what he is doing. So she can catch the spirit of the time.
