Duane Bahia Benatti

Duane Bahia Benatti, the Brazilian-Italian born painter has lived in Leipzig, Germany since 2015. From 2016 until 2018 he has been a Master Student of Ceramics at Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule in Halle, Germany. In 2010 Benatti graduated in Visual Arts and Art Studies from Fundacao Armando Alvares Penteado, Sao Paulo, Brazil. His works have recently been exhibited in group shows including Unicum International Ceramics Triennial at the National Museum of Slovenia, Bienal de Cerveira (Portugal) and 50 Contemporary Artists, Enter Art Foundation, Berlin. In 2012 he received the Beca de Arte (Stipend), from Fundacion Tres Pinos, which concluded with a solo show at Centro Cultural Borges, Buenos Aires. In 2013 he won an award from Mostra de Arte da Juventude, Ribeirao Preto, Brazil.
