Sylvie Xing Chen

Sylvie Xing Chen is a Swiss-based Chinese multi­-disciplinary artist specializing in mineral and calligraphy painting. The Tao and the Zen are the sources of her inspiration. For Chen, energy traces come out of her desire to open the senses. In her work she transforms canvas or paper by painting or writing with natural minerals as well as gold and silver leaf.
