Back in the days I dropped out of the art school and started to study psychology because I was always interested in the depth of things. In the next years I l have had a successful journalist career, before fully returning to art at the age of 22. In Moscow being an artist and queer personality seemed impossible so I moved to Berlin in 2011 to establish my artist career and live my life as a free spirit. Living in Berlin and experiencing closely gay and techno scene stripped my art from anything but brutal lines and punk brushstrokes. Black and white magic of my works comes from the deep drums of industrial techno and urban landscape of German capital. The neo tribal look and feel of the masks and Totems I create combine the passion for classical portraiture and the need to play and experiment with the genre.
I believe I am quite an anarchist in the art world as I paved my way without formal training, choosing the opposite of the conventional route to success. I am highly inspired by Keith Haring, Pablo Picasso, Jean Michelle Basquiat And Andy Warhol.
